Let’s Face It
I’m about to embark upon my first EVER solo art exhibition! (aside from Open Studios)
At 10am sharp on August 7th, I will be open for business at the Birdwood Gallery in Totnes, Devon.
My portrait sculptures of humans & animals will be hanging on the walls, dangling from the ceiling and balanced on multiple plinths… I will also have a few paintings and drawings dotted around, just for good measure.
Highlight of my show will be a new bust of Jimi Hendrix, called ‘Purple Haze’. It’s a life-size study of this so talented musician, who was snatched away from us at such a young age.
There will also be foxes, orangutans, a giraffe, a dog, an owl, small heads, big heads, children’s heads and older people… so much to see, so I hope you’ll be able to drop in and have a look and chat about my technique etc.
Birdwood Gallery is right in the centre of Totnes, next to the Market Square and is a brilliant spot, especially as it has a different artist exhibiting every week, so there is always something new and exciting to experienced.
Let’s Face It runs until Saturday August 12th, when it closes at 4pm.
